When Kheiron asked for advice on the tournament, the slave said cheerlessly and without pause, "Don't die."

Random little scene from a story in my head. The centaur has been captured by humans and is forced to fight as a gladiator and here, a human slave helps him put on a little bit of armor before the battle. This guy appears elsewhere in my gallery in 'Renegade.' Pencils, turned siena in Paintshop.

Can you tell me what it was you were thinking the human was thinking at this time? Jess Owen replies: "Heh eh...darn. I was hoping no one would notice his face XD Originally I wanted him to have a neutral expression...then, I attempted to have him with chin up, eyes lowered, just focused on lacing the bracer. Never quite got it. I redrew it so many times I sort of...gave up. In a re-do I would say he’s thinking "not another one." Since he sees men go out and die every day :/ Thank you for the comment!"
